Lila Lolling
yogini Siromani
"jewel of the crown of yoga"

As part of her service in the world, Lila Lolling shares traditional Yoga practices & philosophy in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
This ancient Yoga is known for its wisdoms, unity and healing properties.  Known as Advaita Vedanta, this philosophy has been orally handed down
from the
Saraswati Sivananda lineage of Sannyasins (monks)

of Rishikesh, India, since 800 C.E.

For over ten years Lila has been studying, contemplating and integrating these teachings in her own life and sharing their wisdoms with others.

What began as a simple Self* inquiry and healing path from epilepsy

quickly became an offering in quest of the soul's highest potential.

Through her own integration of the Yoga teachings, Lila has been guided

to a world of service where sharing life's wisdoms helps her

to heal and the Self to illuminate.

"Yoga philosophy teaches us how to become closer to the Beloved Divine.

We each have the right to choose to live consciously or unconsciously.

By sharing Advaita Vedanta teachings, I hope people feel empowered to

grow and learn and work to realize the Self," says Lila.

In October 2007 Lila Lolling founded the DeafYoga Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization dedicated to sharing ancient Yoga wisdoms with the Deaf & Signing community.  Through the use of American Sign Language (ASL), Deaf community members are able to fulfill their desire to establish a yoga practice or become an avid  yoga teacher in today's world.
